Four Ways A Indoor Playground Lies To You Everyday

If you reside in a place such as we do in Western New York (we're in Rochester!) With beautifully warm summers and cold snowy winters, you'll know that your choices for your child's birthday party are largely determined by the weather.
As an August baby, we always had small family parties outside at my house. However, together with sons born in November and March, we are always left to reserve an indoor venue for their celebrations, if we chose to have them that year. While those with kids with summer birthdays might appear lucky to have numerous options at their disposal, it can also often feel overwhelming.
While in Climbing Vines Cafe and Play we might be biased since we host indoor celebrations, I wanted to discuss with all the 5 most common reasons we hear from past party clients to book indoor summer evenings with us. To them, the stress-free temperament of the indoor summer celebration is a no-brainer, and they're not looking back! Following their first indoor summer celebration they keep hosting with us year after year.

The most common cause for a customer to book a summer indoor celebration with us is they don't have to stem the weather forecast for upgrades in the weeks leading up to the party. Nothing can derail a pleasure party quicker than having to cram all your guests within your home, waiting for a storm to pass. And if you've ever had to cancel or postpone your child's birthday because of weather, then you know how heartbreaking that can be.
We get dozens of calls each summer a few days before someone's outdoor celebration is supposed to happen to find out if we've got an open slot for them within our indoor party venue because of weather woes. We can normally pull off this if the spot is open, but hosts will unfortunately have to scramble and let all of their guests are aware of the change in venue and probably shift in time, and also change all their catering requests to accommodate their new party program.
While of course rain is most probably the largest obstacle you may face, extreme heat, unseasonably cool weather, and wind may also pose issues for your food, decorations, and your guests' possessions. You will likely find yourself investing in a kayak or some other weather barrier just to ease your mind a bit, which can be costly and require lots of precious time to set up and take down. I will not even tell the narrative of the time my Dad set a tent up for a party in a windstorm and wound up with a insurance coverage for 4 ruined automobiles when it withdrew (weights and anchors and all!) ...

Besides the obvious weather worries you can avoid with a indoor celebration, there may also just be something so simple and lovely about a indoor summer celebration. Guests won't need to worry about bringing towels and sunscreen and sunglasses and swimsuits and changes of clothing and bug spray... you understand.
Sometimes it's nice to take a brief break from the outdoors, sip coffee in an air borne cafe, and have an actual conversation with other adults while the children play, rather than chasing kids around attempting to receive their fur on them or keeping them away from the in-ground pool. I am not sure about you, but I can never quite relax at an outdoor summer birthday party with a two and a 4 year old. While they sure do have a fantastic time running around, we typically leave at a daze or with a tantrum, unsure if we even had time to talk or check in with everyone.
While I absolutely love a fantastic barbecue or summer grilling extravaganza, I also find it refreshing when we could take a break from the same-old backyard bash and spend a few hours in a relaxing, cool, and most significantly -- included! -- atmosphere.
It is also freeing as a guest to have the remainder of the day to do as we want as a family, not have to be concerned about getting the kids into a bath immediately after the celebration or stopping home to cool off and change clothes.
I promise that if you reserve an indoor party for your son or daughter, guests (especially family) may appear a little confused at first (why not take advantage of the summer weather while we can, right?) But after hosting hundreds of indoor parties I can tell you for sure that on the day-of, you and your guests will realize how nice it is to kick back within an air-conditioned private celebration for a few hours.

Speaking of how relaxing an indoor, air-conditioned party can be, how can we discuss food for a second?
Therefore, for our loved ones, the meals factor alone could be sufficient to justify an indoor playground equipment for sale celebration.
Eating in peace without having to find colour or a chair or a place away from bugs is one of those things that you don't realize can be so magnificent before you attend your fourth or fourth outdoor summer gathering and after that get a break from them. One of the most common things we hear is how fine it's to sit and eat and watch the kiddos play without having any other venue-related cares or worries. This is going to be particularly important when you are going to be having elderly family members attend who will struggle with being portable in the sand or marijuana and locating seating at outside parties.
Plus, when was the last time you attended an outdoor summer celebration with a complete espresso bar and cafe available for guests to enjoy now they don't need to be concerned about running around chasing their kids in the warmth?

4) DECOR OPTIONS GALORE

While celebration aesthetic may not be a deciding factor for each and every household, it sure is much easier to make a themed extravaganza that lights a child's face up as soon as the party's indoors. The decorations required tend to be less because the area is smaller and included contained, and you won't need to worry about balloons and streamers blowing all about or securing table covers down.
Since we do host mobile events outdoors in Climbing Vines Cafe and Play, I can also speak from experience once I say the time that it takes to install (and take down!) Decorations for an outside party compared to a indoor celebration generally ends up being double. Finding good places to hang banner, needing two people to maintain and secure everything, and finding weights or other restraints for everything can be a true hassle on celebration.
And you'll have enough to be concerned about this day, right?
Also, if your pinterest boards are filled with cute centerpieces, a candy bar, or anything which could possibly be impacted by wind (or attract bees!) You will probably have to restrategize to get an outdoor soiree.
And of course decor typically can only be utilized once if used outside, but repurposed again and again if used for an indoor event. Our guests that sponsor indoor events, notably those who spent significant money into decoration or labored hard to create their own, are pleased to find they can usually create a large chunk of their cash back by reselling their materials something like Facebook Marketplace.
5) YOU MAY ACTUALLY SAVE MONEY
Speaking of cash, probably the biggest misconception I hear from clients is that they want to sponsor a party in their home to save the leasing fee of an indoor area. I generally laugh at this because it makes perfect sense, in other words, if you have never hosted an outside celebration.
With all the"extras" like tents, seat rentals, additional decorations, weather reinforcements, clean-up supplies, games and activities for your kids (which you won't need to supply at a play place!) It is very likely you are going to end up spending MUCH more hosting a party at your home or an outside venue than you'd inside.
I am not sure how other indoor spaces manage their equipment, but we only charge guests to get extra drinks and provides and such on the day of the celebration if they end up needing them, and we also enable parties to bring in their OWN food, dessert, and decoration should they choose!
Money aside, spending countless hours cleaning before, during, and after the party can also have a toll. Would not it be nice to walk into a sparkling clean area and depart with your guests once the party's over, not having to be concerned about the cleanup, trash removal, tent teardown, etc?
It's possible to just go home and relax with your family (yes, maybe outside!) At a nice clean home that wasn't just trampled by party guests and all their sand, grass, and sunscreen.
Along with the time spent cleaning before and after the celebration, would not it ALSO be wonderful to not need to play"server" throughout the event? Even for clients that bring in their own food and decor, our dedicated party assistants set everything up, refill and mend food and beverages as needed, clear dishes, cut and serve the cake, and package up all the leftovers in the end of the celebration!
In the end, it is your child's special day and you wish to spend those valuable hours making memories and visiting along with your guests-- not running about chasing your decorations or refilling the fruit bowl countless times.
So save everybody (and especially your own family!) Lots of stress, time, and stress by booking your event with us this summer. We would be honored to offer you an easy, enjoyable experience which will leave your whole guest list feeling joyful, grateful, and full of love after spending a relaxing (yet fun-filled!) day together.
